Chris has spent over a decade advising and invested in the natural resources industry through a variety of professional services and principal investment roles. This experience provided numerous opportunities to work closely with entrepreneurs and SME management teams addressing key challenges to move companies forward and bring ideas to fruition.
Prior to joining RFC Ambrian in 2018, Chris was a Senior Associate with Cadent Energy Partners, a US-based Private Equity fund focused on energy services & industrial technologies. Working hand in hand with portfolio company management teams, Chris helped manage operational and financial analyses including international supply chains, new product and capital investment analyses, market research and transaction support including due diligence. Additionally, Chris managed the fund’s quarterly valuation and investor reporting processes.
At RFC Ambrian, Chris has worked on a variety of engagements across the mining and energy industries and was instrumental in creating the partnership with RFC’s most recent portfolio company, Conveyor Manufacturers Australia (CMA). Chris currently serves as interim CEO and is driving customer adoption of CMA’s safer and more productive bulk material conveyor technology which will enable automation of the underground mine.
